Winning Edge Nominations Are Open!

Nominations are now open for Airdrie's premier business awards program, the Winning Edge Awards. Every year during Small Business Week, outstanding businesses in Airdrie are recognized through this program. Nominations must be received by September 10.

Join us for a great dinner and an entertaining evening socializing with your business colleagues. The feature speaker this year will be Tim Tamashiro.

But first - we need your help! Recognize business success by nominating (or self nomiante) a business. Nominations are due by September 10 with award finalists announced in late September. The awards will be handed out at the Winning Edge Awards Banquet at Woodside Golf Course on Friday, October 22.

New this year is the Airdrie Business Leader Award which will recognize a local visionary who is an exceptional leader, in both business and the community.

The new Airdrie Business Leader award joins three existing awards that recognize exceptional businesses in Airdrie:

Winning Edge Award - a small business (less than 50 employees) that best exhibits outstanding achievement in innovative practices, customer service, and growth, and actively participates in the community.
Sponsored by: Airdrie Business Resource Partnership.

Eco Edge Award - a business that promotes, takes part and provides leadership in the environmental arena.
Sponsored by: City of Airdrie Environmental Services Board.

Family Friendly Business Award - a business that demonstrates family friendly practices that support employees' needs inside and outside of the workplace and/or make it fun for families to visit.
Sponsored by: Airdrie National Family Week Steering Committee.

Nominations for these awards can be made online at www.airdriebizresources.org or nomination forms are available at City Hall (400 Main Street) or the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce (#106, 120 - 2nd Avenue).

The Winning Edge Awards are organized by the Airdrie Business Resource Partnership (ABRP) and its partners. The ABRP seeks to foster the growth of a vibrant, thriving and diversified business community in Airdrie and the surrounding area.    The Winning Edge Awards are made possible by generous sponsorship from the local business community.  If you would like to be a financial supporter of this event, please contact the ABRP.
